We should be done just in time to take our stations on the course.
Remember I'm bringing coffee, bagels and we'll have Gatorade too.
See you there,
Bill

Have fun tomorrow everyone, wish I could join you!
ReplyDeleteI will misss you Anne.. but we got five hours on the road next weekend. Woohoo!!
ReplyDeleteHey Full Tilts! Just wanted to say again how much I appreciate your course marshalling mad skilz yesterday! You made my job MUCh easier knowing you had the Breckenridge Subdivision taken care of! Thanks for all your help and sacrifice of time. You all are the best!! Good luck to everyone running Chicago next weekend!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the full-tilts for finishing the 18-week training program. You are almost there - good luck - you will all do great. Sorry to hear that Nancy is out. Bill, Joni, Ann and Susannah -- have faith in the training and you will do well. I look forward to following everyone.
ReplyDeleteI am 1 1/2 week post Quad-cities and am just now starting to feel back to normal. I was so suprised at how tired I was the first week after the race. My best advice is to print-out Hal's after the race recovery plan. Zero week gives good advice for recovery. I am now following week one and have done several easy runs. If you manage to finish the race uninjured, it is still a high-risk time for injury. Hal's recovery plans help minimize this risk.
Take care of your selves this week - eat well, rest well and train minimally.
Best Wishes Sandy
Thanks Sandy for the advice and encouragement. Glad you are doing well and taking it easy. Look forward to running with you again. j
